Greenhouses and Funerals - 1 Aug 2010

I have eventually started my greenhouse for next year, so that I am not at the mercy of the weather quite as much. Unfortunately I have attended a funeral also. It really was quite a sad occasion. My friend Sulyemans wife passed away with a brain clot. It was all quite unexpected but I suppose sometimes that can be seen as a blessing. I have seen my grandmother waste away for years with Alzheimers, and more recently my Auntie suffered years of Chemotheraphy in a battle against cancer that was eventually lost. Sorry to be all down, funerals are a time that make you reflect on what is important in your life because you just don't know what tomorrow brings.

The green house has been started! I am very good at starting new projects, in fact so good I much rather start something new than finish something I have been attempting for ages. If I was of school age this no doubt would be attributable to attention deficit disorder. Unfortunately at 35, I am just rubbish at getting things done. Oh to be back at school again!

Green house foundations

Well I said a start and I have put in the four corner posts, when the concrete has set tomorrow I shall do a bit more (maybe). My greenhouse is based on the design of all good wendy houses, apart from the fact that I shall use clear polythene, instead of coloured in stuff.

I have been taxi-ing a good friend of my Metin, and his wife Melek quite regualarly to the hospital as Melek's mother has been very ill. Thankfully she has made a recovery, and will be discharged from hospital on Wed 4 Aug. They have kindly told me that they will provide me with a lamb for all my trouble. So expect another BBQ post soon. If you missed the last one it is here 'BBQ - BG'.

My internet has bveen really bad the last couple of days so apologises if I have not been as frequent with the updates. I am off to Kardjali to beat up M-Tel soon. Though what to expect from a Vodafone subsiduary, will not be surprising. I feel some shrugging shoulders coming on. All of a sudden everyone who understood my Bulgarian when I want a new contract will no longer be able to understand a word I say!
