Famous for its contribution to paxos stuffing mixture, sage can be quite overpowering, but goes very well in homemade sausages, and adds flavour to peas stright from the pod. Probably a bit too powerful to be included with your mixed herbs.

How to Grow Sage

1. Can be grown from seed but is much easier and quicker to take a cutting from an established plant in the spring time.

2. A sage bush can last for several years, but then gets a bit woody, I renew mine from cuttings every 3 years or so.

3. Drying can take a bit longer than other herbs as the leaves are quite thick.
